50 50 is a nation-wide movement that will mobilise 50,000 Australian households to be a vehicle of blessing to 50,000 of the world’s poorest households.

The 50:50 campaign commenced in March 2009 for all States except NSW and in June 2009 for NSW. It will see 50,000 Australian households join together to bless 50,000 of the world’s poorest households. It will also be a key opportunity for participating churches to develop a biblically shaped ministry to the poor that will carry into the future.

Each week a key dimension of a biblical response to the world’s poor will be explored. Weekly church services are devoted to these themes and followed up in small group bible studies. Each week there is a practical action that households are encouraged to undertake.
